Well you wanted to see a Rigid light bar installed and here you go as promised, sorry for being a little late. Got the brackets from one of the sponsors on the forum Alternative Offroad, had them in my hand in about four days from the day i called in the order. Im rocking the 10" light bar, i say skip the 8" and go for either the 10" or 20" if you can afford it.

Figure I will tear them off eventually but they work well in the meantime.

Awesome! That looks like the route I'll end up taking. Not that I havenoticed a theft problem in my area, but is there anything that you've done to make it more difficult for a thief? Maybe a different type of bolt head?

I was thinkin the same thing when I was installing the light bar but once you tighten everything down on the bracket it's impossible to remove the light bar. the only option someone would have to get the light bar out is to cut the bracket and they are thick, not some flimsy metal. also the bolts on the back a bracket are a bit recessed and you need to use an allen wrench to tighten or loosening. I'm thinking about adding blue loctite to the bracket to make it just that more difficult

Ive discovered the Rugged Ridge used a very large diameter tubing when making the hoop, its about 2.36 inches in diameter. Since the hoop is a larger than normal diameter I've found it difficult to locate the correct mounting clamps that will fit. Luckily one of the sponsored vendors ,Alternative Offroad, carries the correct mounting clamps tofit the hoop.Ill take some pictures when i mount my light this week.
Rugged Ridge makes their own mounting clips that are made for that bar. They will also fit any tube from 2-2.5".

Could you show how you routed the wiring for these lights?
I'm about to put some KCs on my prerunner and can't figure out where to run the wires so they don't get ripped off.

I really like the xhd bumper, can you still take off the grill to get to lights with that bumper installed?
