Was driving down the highway tonight and out of the blue two lights popped on. i was driving in hard rain for about three and a half hours. Was wondering if any one has had this happen to them. And a fix if possible.

The traction control turned off. Try the switch to turn it back on

I think he is smart enough to try that.... And it doesn't work.

This happens to mine too (2010 jk unlimited) only every once in awhile. Seems to be when it's really hot out. It's usually on for a short amount of time and then goes off.

Hopefully someone has some inside to this.

Yes I tried to turn the switch off then on. The Cruise control was on that the time. It was on for a few hours after they came on. But it was off the next time I drove. It's happened twice before on the same stretch of high way.

I have an 08 JKU and I have had it happen to me aleast 3 times. I was wondering the same thing. I stopped and turned the jeep off and waited a few minutes and then everything was back to normal.

Happened to mine once either. It was raining cats and dogs on the highway and suddenly my Jeep started behaving like the engine was having problems. One light, like a little lightning, came up in the dashboard. I could still maintain the speed but noticed the engine was struggling.

I kept going until I found a safe place to stop. Turned it off and then on again after a few minutes. It behaved like nothing happened.

So, not sure whether water got where it should not or what. At that time the Jeep was as stock as it could be.
