Light Locks
Anybody use them? I'm thinking of grabbing a few packs but am having a hard time finding any reviews.

That's crazy expensive.
A really good fastener supply house should have tamper-resistant bolts that you can use.
Here's a post to what I used to secure my Warn winch. The button-head bolts were better than grade 8, so I had no concerns about their strength (but not an issue for your use):

Deterrents are always good, but through personal experience (had vehicle broken into), if someone really wants it, they'll get it, and if they don't get it, they'll destroy everything trying to get it.

This is the reason I never lock my doors. I had a stereo stolen from an XJ over 10 years ago and they pried the lock out of the side of my door. They stole my $400 stereo, but caused $1000 worth of damage to my door. I still never lock my doors to this day.

my jkur came with 3 grand worth of wheel and tire on it, 600 per and 5 of them, and thats replaceing them via ebay, which is probably selling stolen ones to begin with, so i added a less then $30 5 piece lock nut kit for 1 lug on each, if you dont have the socket thats made to fit them, well you aint stealing them without a torch.....

I think a lot of it is people spending money because of marketing. Take a few isolated incidents (stolen lights/battery/winch/wheels/doors/whatever), highlight it in advertising and on forums, and offer the "fix". People probably should worry more about being struck by lightning. (cue the " but I have a friend who ..." stories).
