Are you referring to headlights, fog lights, or light bars?

I've seen the gen two trucklites in action in Moab and they are clean and bright. The x is not noticeable unless pointed out, and who cares anyway. If money is no issue then go with jw speaker.

Fog lights or light bars, Rigid industries makes me happy.

Amperage draw is definitely lower than halogen, and the light output is very white. Contact David at Northridge and he will give you the skinny.

I run a 30" Procomp on my Jeep, with Trucklight floods on the windshield. I also run a 20" E-series Rigid on my welding truck. Both are great but I like the pattern of the Rigids way better.

I know
LED strip some of us use HID lighting on their Rexes, but I understand that the latest generation of LEDs are incredibly efficient, in both power consumpion and illumination. Does
led spot lights anyone - anywhere for all I know - use these LEDs for headlights instead of xenon or HIDs? If so, how do they rate them? I notice that they are appearing on new top of the range cars (Lexus etc) so presumably they're legal. I assume they led flood light fixtures must require a completely new headlight unit.

I recently made the switch to everything LED

Truck-lites headlamp
D2 driving beam for fogs
D1 flood for a-pillar mount
and Rigid 50" light bar on a PSC mount

The light output is just ridiculous. Each light independently is a drastic improvement from stock but fire them all up together and you'll melt the asphalt and trees will spontaneously combust

any appreciable drain or is it much better using the LED? any precautions on leaving them on for extended period of time secondary to heat? maybe dumb questions, I really don't know...

Too early to know because I just got everything last week and I've only been able to wire up the D2's and truck lite so far.
You won't have any issues with drain, that's for sure. Lighting up all these lights at once will have an amp draw of ~20 amps
Prior to this I had HIDS and 5 lightforce 170's so firing everything up at once would draw ~70 amps
