Hey guys. I'm trying to decide what way to go with my lighting upgrades. I'm planning on putting on some windshield lights, and an LED bar on the front bumper. I plan on doing spot/driving lights for the windshield and a flood for the LED bar. My question is what would you guys recommend for the windshield? HIDs or LEDs? As much as I'd like them, I can't afford anything super expensive like Rigids. So whatever I go with will be a less expensive version. Thanks for any input.

Led. I have 20" led bar on bumper and dually spots on pillar. Perfect combo.

I have the D2s on my windshield and honestly I'm not a huge fan, ALOT of light gets thrown on the hood and while the LEDs are bright, IMO you get more usable light out of a good incandescent, I run a set of lightforce 170s on my truck, not even hids and I love em, night and day difference to the duallys

Agreed. Led is no where near a good reflector unit. I have hella hid lights and led cannot touch them for light projection

i just got a 50'' led from chris at truckaddons on here for 479 shipped. its a dual row with white lights (not flooding) but he may have some that have a flooding row either way, it beats the hell out of paying 1500 plus mounts for the rigid 50'' bar

What make of lights did you get? I'm looking for some cheaper alternatives to Rigid..

I have hid headlights. I prefer the led lights on pillar. Nice clean crisp light and no need for warm up.
