Default Led headlight harness question

Guys,

Got a set of eBay led headlights that are a knock off of JW's.

They came with the h13 to h4 adapter and antiflicker module.

Question is, I tried to see if they would flicker without the module between the adapter but they wouldn't work at all without the antiflicker installed.

I thought you were able to just plug the adapter in and they'd work but maybe flicker.

These won't come on without the antiflicker installed. Is this typical?

I just installed a set this weekend and didn't use the anti-flicker harness... Maybe the set you bought are designed like that

That what I get for buying cheap crap.

One headlight wouldn't come off of high beam without disconnecting completely.

Sent back and got real Trucklites

I bought a brand called Lantsun, it's Chinese I believe. $188 for the pair with LED halos that are white DRL's and turn Amber with your turn signal. Pretty easy installation, plus saved me a boatload of money.

You made the right choice with the truck lites. Spend a little more once. The cheap ebay/Chinese stuff is cheap for a reason. Poorly made, Poor design, poor light spread, beam, pattern etc. Do it right. There are other places to spend less money.

Haven't fully adjusted them yet. Did a quick set up but my driveway is angled upward about 5* so couldn't get an accurate read.

No night pics yet but here's a shot of them in the Jeep

No doubt. Do you have the small Y hotspot also? I know most do and it's not a big thing just wanted to know if adding the horizontal adjustment screws would effect that or not?

The x in the truck lite is from the led mount. Yes I have it, I only notice it when I am against a wall or pulling behind someone at a stop sign etc. While driving I don't even see them. Once Highs are on you don't see them either ha ha.
