I bought some led lights for my 2018 unlimited jk. I wired everything up correctly however when the jeep is in park the halos work fine but when i put the jeep in gear the high beams come on. An electrician friend checked it out and said that it's sending low voltage to my high beams as daytime running lights. I can't turn off the drl in the uconnect. I was wondering if anyone had any ideas how to get around this problem

What did you connect lights to?

They came with a wire to connect to the fusebox. I contacted the seller and everything was hooked up right.

Have you tried connecting to another location?

Ya I did try other locations for the power for the halos. The halos power up just fine it’s when I put the vehicle in gear that they go out and the high beams come on

That’s a real head scratcher! I don’t see a connection

I also have the same issue but without the help of electrician i was able to rectify the problem of LED light.

I'm also interested to know how an electrician helped you with the LED light issue. I am having the same problem, my highbeams turn on when lights are set to off or auto (during the day). Did he need to cut into the wiring?
