Finally put in LED footwell lights, plus went ahead and put a tiny strip in the glove box, love the way it turned out, i want to get more for the cargo space in the back, i hate having to use a pen light every time i go back there at night.

I don't know if any one mentioned this but, whee I live it is illegel to have Blue or Red lights on the inside of your vehicle if the source is visible. I had blue lights under my dash of an truck I used to have. so I can't do a dome light. the floor light might be cool but then don't think it would be legal if I took my doors off.
Might be worth looking into.

It useally went with something else. I have only heard of one guy every getting a ticket for it. it was one of those stories where he had a warning coming to him... until he opened his mouth. I think I am going to ask some friends of mine in law enforcement and ask about floor lights.

its probably one of those things where they won't bother you unless they are funding a reason to pull you over to search your car. our window tint law is like that, legal is 35% but i roll around with 20% and have never been messed with.

Intetesting...I used to have an Acura MDX that had blue 'map lights' mounted in the roof above the rearview that came on automatically with the headlights. No way to turn them off either - one of the thousand things i hated about that car.
