This is an awesome mod!!! I know I may seem like an idiot asking this again, but I'm an electrical moron.
Is the yellow/white strip wire that you're splicing into make the lights dim-able like the dash lights, or is it only on with the dome light?
I have a 2010 Rubicon if that matters. I read on another forum someone talking about an orange/white wire.
What I want is the lights to come on whenever the dash lights would be on, and I want to make sure they dim with the dimmer switch.
Thanks in advance and sorry for the dumb question.

Need some help with mine I have a 2011 pretty sure the wire is a different color code found out how to wire it where they are on all the time but I just want them on with the dome

As far as I know it's the same. Make sure you did yellow with white STRIPE not white with yellow stripe. That's most ppls mistake.
