I installed 3 led strips on my 2011. It is the same wire as previous, small yellow wire with white stripe. Tapped into in the passenger footwell below the door cable disco. Good luck.

I haven't been on here in a while but I put some LED strips in mine about a month ago.
2 in the center (6")
2 underneath the front footwells and a (12")
long one underneath the back seats (24")

I didn't have enough time to pull the center console, so the cup holders will have to wait.

Turns out the vents are not as bright as I had hoped with one LED per, so I'll need to order more.

I might do footwell lighting later, but for now I just wanted some ambient light on the dash so I could see what I was doing at night

I just put some red in my footwells, no pics yet. I really like the the location above the window switches
