130w can be had for under $150 shipped for the pair. This is for the stainless steel model.
Their customer service is incredible. I had a small barrell nut back out and fall off. They mailed me out two replacements! Gave me some tech advice on a temporary repair.
They have one of the best warranties too !

the hella 500 driving beam lens loves hid. They produce over 1000m of output, with good spread.
Here are a few shots of the powerful output of the 500 with 55w 4300k (another piece of the lighting puzzle, do not go above 4300k).

I have the 500ff driving lights is that what you have. Seems like hid bulbs would be to long
