Default KC SLIMLITE question

I've been on the phone way too long with people who work at an off road place but don't have a clue about what they are talking about....

So I am ready to order windshield lights for my 09 unlimited, but am stuck. I've had one company tell me the apollo lights are = to store bought stuff and to go with the KC Slimlite. Then another tells me that the apollo will replace the Slimlite. SOOOO Should I blow the $ and get the slimite?

Also how hard is it to clean off the bugs from the Slimlite?

I think the Apollos are 55w, while the slim lites are either 100 or 130. I could be wrong, but I've looked at both and although the Apollo is an inexpensive way to get lights on, they might be disappointing when it comes time to actually use them.

Default lights

i have the slimlites
there pretty good amazing bright but lots of $$$$$ easy to clean
only downfall i have found is that the rivets rust and the drain hole as well
and for the money i wish it came with a better switch that wasnt so cheesy
just my .02

I have the Slimlite 100 watt driving lights. I like them a lot. My only very minor complaint is that they tilt easily if inadvertently bumped (such as when checking engine oil). Other than that, no rust issues (perhaps a product of less salt on the roads?).

Thanks for all the replies. I went with the driving slimlite. Should be here in a few days and I'll take pics!

Go to Disney. In Tulsa, you're two hours closer to it than me.
