Default KC Slimlite install issue w exposed clips

I think I may have made a mistake by purchasing the smitty brackets for my slimlites as they sit so far outside the wires from the lites themselves are not long enough to hide the clasps under the body of the jeep. Any tips or suggestions ?

Other than getting new brackets, which I'm not sure would get it close enough to get the harness hidden anyways. I'd probably cut and lengthen the light side wires. Then wrap the wires in a wire loom. Just separate your splice so it fits in the smallest loom possible and if you use crimp on connectors, I'd use heat shrink connectors.

Oh I'm sure they'll tell you not to wasn't thinking of warranty. If that be the case use the smallest loom that will fit over the harness and then slip the smallest size that will fit on wiring inside the ends of larger one. Wrap with electrical tape and call it a day.
