That's one thing I really like about the KC's. Their harness is really simple. One power and one ground from each housing going into the relay. One ground coming from the harness at the relay and two wires going to power. One needs to go to the battery, the other can go to the bright light wire, the battery (unswitched) or somewhere else that there's switched power. You don't see a ground again until you get to the switch and it's just a short little guy.

If the ground, or fuses are bad, it'll show at both lights. I think it really simplifies diagnostics.
