Default KC Light question

I installed a set of Rally 800's on my front bumper yesterday along with a new switch plate from Cooltech. Threw the switch, everything was cool so I went on to other things waiting for dark so I could adjust them. Went out after dark threw the switch again, the toggle lit up, stepped out to adjust them and only one light was on. This leads me to suspect the bulb as the rest of the system seems fine. Hate to think it's the bulb in a brand new kit, but.... Anyone out there have any other ideas?

Yes, the kit came with a complete harness, relay fuse holder (25 amp for lights, 3 amp for dash light) and all the connectors.

You could double check the fuse, the connection on the back of the switch, and possibly make sure the connections from the lights and the harness are secure. All I can think of at the moment.

Thanks, I've put all that on my checklist for tonight. Although the fuse is for both sides and as one is still working, that's one thing less to do. I'm still hoping it's something simple like the bulb being loose. I hate to start poking holes in wires to check for continuity.

Check your grounds. Did you wire up your grounds individually?

check the connections between the harness and the lights. One side of mine are a little loose and i had to crimp it a little to tighten up the connection

I started at the bulbs. When I pulled them from the housings, the one that wouldn't light came apart from the connectors much easier than the functioning one. Ah ha, I thought. So I crimped the connectors and switched the bulbs. Wouldn't you know it, now the other side works. So I guess that's pretty much a dead give away it's the bulb. As it was a brand new kit, I'll email Dave at Northridge and see what I need to do about it.

Thanks much for all the suggestions!
