The build sheet for my 12 JK sport says it came with the 130 head, and 8 speakers...ok there are 4 in the dash, and 2 in the roll bar...so where are the other 2...there are 2 3.5 inch holes in the roll bar...is that where they should be? It has a Kenwood head unit....which is about to say bye bye...so what's up?

 

Let me know if you find the answer to this, I'm curious as well with my '12.

 

If the rollbar has a 2-way coaxial, it's possible that's what they mean.

 

2 - 3.5" upper front dash, 2 - 6.5" lower front dash, 2 - 3.5" in sound bar & 2 - 6.5" in sound bar = 8. The older JK's only had 2 6.5" speakers in the sound bar.
