just an idea-power windows
power windows did anybody made the door switch's to work for windows instead off center console ones...?

Thats a much more complicated problem than you might think. The door locks are simple solenoids that change to one of two positions. The power windows require more finite controls which is why they were put in the dash. Both to keep them dry and to allow the doors to be taken off.
