By any chance would you mind flipping your rear seat forward or taking it out and take a photo so we can see what it looks like?

Here are the pics, it was raining today so I had to take crappy pics but I can again when the top is off. I tried to put a tape measure in there so you could see but it didnt turn out.

Also, here is where I installed the bass control knob. I wanted in a spot where I could easily adjust it and it wouldnt stick out like a sore button.

I agree. A lot of people on the forum are using the outputs from the infinity amp to get signal to their aftermarket gear. I would say the majority of people who have the premium factory system. I think the price of the pac adapter turns a lot of people away but its totally worth it imo bc its plug and play and u get a FULL RANGE, NON-EQ'd signal without adding any summing or processing. I've tried both methods, the first using the cleansweep and summing interface and all you get with all that $$ is a full range signal w/ the factory eq curve corrected which the pac adapter does by its self. You still need to add an eq to get it to sound decent in both situations but its waaaay cheaper w/ out the cleansweep

Same here. JL Audio in my opinion is just hard to match. I'll probably never use a different sub unless I manage to find one better.

Default JL Stealth box for JK

Ok so now for my question.. I just trader in the 09 Rubi in for a 2013 10th Anniversary Rubicon unlimited. At some point jeep switched to Alpine from the Infinity. Infinity was twice as good as the Alpine. Anyway my problem now is that i want to install my stealth box into my 2013 but the Factory sub set up is different. The factory enclosure includes the rear seat belt housing and covers the more of the right side, it also has a 12 volt power jack all built into the plastic enclosure. Is there a kit that i can buy to remover the factory sub so i can install the Jl Stealth?
Thanks in advance.
I'm eyeballing the same box. I dare say I can have a custom one built for cheaper, but we'll see. As for the area it goes in. The JL site says, "Requires removal of factory subwoofer, if so equipped. For model years 2011-Up with a 12V accessory plug on the rear passenger side cargo panel/subwoofer, you must purchase a plain (without subwooofer) passenger side rear cargo trim panel (part #1pu12dx9ag) and a cover for the upper seat belt / roll bar (part #1pu18dx9ad) from Jeep/Mopar parts. Use of the accessory outlet is lost with Stealthbox® installation."

As for JL, I agree, best subs period. I've only ever had one let go and that's all I've ever used in any of my cars. Their amps are pretty much in-destructable as well. I mounted a 500/5 in the trunk of my Lotus (high heat and horrible airflow) and it runs like a champ (8yrs+).

Does anyone know of anyone who installed the JK stealth box? I have not been successful in finding a thread on it.
