Default JL Audio speakers in dash and rollbar

Hey guys so I went out and purchase the JL Audio C2-525X speakers to replace my non-infinity factory speakers while retaining the stock headunit. If it cut the wiring clips that connect to the stock speakers in order to get the positive and negative wires will I still need to buy the metra harness?

Thanks

Alex

Metra harness is to change the deck. Just cut and connect the terminal connectors for the new speakers.

Let us know how big a diff you get with the JL's!!!

You don't need the adapter just to change the speakers, some members have also changed their head unit without using this adapter...good luck with your audio upgrade! I'm looking to do an upgrade to my stereo soon as well. Let me know how the JLs sound.

Thanks a bunch guys! Yeah I'll be sure to post back here and do a video of them too. Also, what are my options for tapping speaker wires to add rca outputs for my subs? Should I do a LOC from the roll bar or use the C2A-CHY23 amplifier interface?
