ESPMike, does the Griffin Tuneflex hold the iPod Touch securely? And can you swivel it to view the iPod for wide screen viewing? It would be great if you could post a pic! Thanks!

Found some really great ones that advertise being able to be viewed horizontally.. best thing is, they're designed for the iPod Touch. They're made by Gomadic.

Yes it can rotate on the base it sits, and it holds it very securely. Ive driven with it horizontally and no problems at all. I dont have any pics of it now, I'll see about getting a few tomorrow. The only thing thatd be better about it though was if I could figure out a way to wire the 1/8" cable through the dash and have it pop out near the outlet so there's no hanging cable.

Look around for one of these.. saw one at Walmart the other day for $9.99CDN.

It's actually pretty easy! Just take off the front console (see https://www.jk-forum.com/forums/jk-write-ups-39/removing-factory-radio-706/) and work the Aux wires behind it. He's a pic of how my Nano is set up right now:
