Default Interior Plastic Repair Factory Sub box

I purchased a used OEM sub box for my 14 JK Unlimited. The box does have a few scratches. I would like to eaither sand/repaint or Plastidip it to resport the factory look. Has anyone attempted something like this?

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Get a heat gun and with low heat go over the scratches. DO NOT spend to much time in one area. Take your time and be patient.
