Default Installing amp with stock HU

I would like to install an amp and run it through my stock head unit. I know the stock, 1 disc, HU does not have RCA pre-outs but I swear I saw how someone on here tapped into the unit and soldered a solution. Can anybody help? I really would rather not get a new HU and keep the stock look.

Thanks!

Thanks, I will have to see if that works. Im not sure though bc I don't have the infinity system. I'm actually talking about one where someone literally wired it into the HU.
