look in the write up section OR try a search of back up lights.

Here I did it for you. This is the way I ended up doing mine but not cut into the bumper. Hey its a start

I know the search brings up a bunch. I hope this helps.

What are you after? MORE lights or more light output? You can get 50 watt halogen bulbs to go in the stock sockets. I have them and they work fine.

Default Back-Up lights

Turkeyfreer did a beautiful install into a stock bumper, pics and write-up was great. Although I don't have a stock rear bumper, I am following this example to do mine when I get home from the sandbox.

Also attached is the wiring diagram for the KC 517 kit, which shows how to wire it up to work with either the standard reverse lights or with a switch.

Do you have a part number for these? Any signs that they are damage to the light housing with the larger wattage bulb?

Thanks, Bill

I am curious on your 50 watt back up lights. Have you looked inside the light assembly for any heat/melting damage? I used a higher wattage in a dome light once and things started melting and discoloring. I realize the back up lights are not usually on for too long but I just wondered. No problem with the lighting computer either?
