New member and 1st post. 2013 Jeep Wrangler sport

looking for guidance on figuring out why my Jeep is giving me hot oil message.

Hot oil message appears immediately when key is turned
Checked trans fluid checked out good
now Jeep has no response from key unless I turn key and turn headlights on, vehicle registers key dash comes on etc. but will not turn over at all. Battery sending 12.7 V

 

Before anything, get the health of the battery checked. Just having a floating voltage of 12.7 does not mean the battery is good.
