Under the steering wheel there might be space toward to outside on the aluminum tub. I considered putting mine there but since the amp is under the passenger seat I located the cap under the driver seat. I drive an auto so I don't know how much of that space the clutch occupies.

A 1 farad cap should be plenty for this amp.
