Default Horizontal PDX Installation(Pics)

I just had an Alpine PDX installed in my JK. I had seen several installs with the amp mount vertically. The installer chose to mount mine horizontally and it fit's perfect in the space. Just thought I would pass it along for those considering an install

I also had an Alpine IXA-W404 installed

Can you PM me the info on your installer? Either that or find out for me what kind of bracket they used to mount the amp.

Couldn't see them in the original post, but they are visible in his folder. The PDX is in the stock amp's location. Several people have done this, but these are the first pics of it I can remember seeing. Definitely a tight squeeze, but it fits perfectly.

Let's see if inserting them from the folder works... Guess not, still getting red Xs.

For those that want to see, just go to his folder here:

Nice looking JK by the way steward. Don't see many black with half doors.

You just gave me an excellent idea for my own Alpine Amp. It is currently mounted under the seat (typical install). I wonder if I can get my installer to modify it to this location??
Thanks...
