Whatre your opinions on HID's? I am thinking of picking up some 6000k bulbs. will I like them? is all I need is the 2 - 6000K bulbs, 2 Slim Ballasts, and a Wiring Harness? Thanks for the help!

6000 is white
8000 is blue
4300 is yellow
The closer to 4300 the more yellow. The higher the more blue until yet get to purple. Lower number more visible light
I like and have ran 6000k on my xj and bikes
Also all the led lights are 6000k color range.

I put 6000k HID's in both the headlights and fog lights. I'm a fan of how bright they are. However, sometimes the driver's side headlight doesn't always fire up. I simply switch them off and then on again and it works. Not sure what the problem is. I have relays. They worked flawlessly for about 3 months. I think HID bulbs need a voltage spike to fire them initially. Maybe the driver's side being further away from the battery creates a slight voltage drop?? Same thing happens to the HID's I installed on my wife's Lexus LS 400. Puzzling...slightly inconvenient, but I would still recommend.
