Ok the dealer told me it was traced to the fuse box. 500 $ later it is fixed. Thank god for the warranty. It was a part in the fuse box that had to be replaced. Ill post the name ofbit in case y'all have the same issue.

My JK is currently doing something similar to this and it has in the past as well. The rear driver's side taillight doesn't work at all. It worked fine prior to plugging in my boat trailer today. (Yes, I always unplug my trailer before launching) The bulb is good, the fuse is good, the wiring is good, there just isn't any power coming from the TIPM.
I know the circuitry from the TIPM back to the taillight is good because I have the parking lights for my remote car starter integrate into the vehicle's wiring harness right where the wires come out of the TIPM. When I remote start my JK all the parking lights come on as they should. The TIPM just isn't putting anything out. It has to be a computer thing.
Here's my thought process on it. I'm thinking that when I unplug my boat trailer the TIPM sees an amperage draw drop and thus thinks the taillight is out, when in fact that's not the case.
I have the Mopar 4 pin tow harness installed on my JK, but I didn't have anything programmed with the computer for towing. I wonder if maybe this has something to do with it.
Just some thoughts.

Magic is Right!
ok i figured it out. well, this is what myself and the jeep service tech figured out and how we fixed the problem.
i had my rear seat out when this started to happen. AN dthen when i put it back in to take it to the dealer. the light mysteriously started working again. i know this sounds crazy, but the jeep tech and i believe that there is a ground that ties into the rear seat bolts. and when i took out the seat, is when i had issues. but when i put it back in, it started working again. MAGIC? but it works. and i am finished herculining my jeep now too.
he did note that the only other reason would have been the computer.
now i reccomend you take the bulb out and switch it with the other sides bulb to see if its really out. if it isnt then switch tail lights. the harnesses are the same. then if these two things work then you might want to consider checking the rear seat or just take it to the stealership. you can call me tommorrow if you want any help over the phone, at 580-647-7591.

I had the exact same issue. Took my seat out and soon after it happened to me. I just put my seat back in, thanks to your recomendation, and just like that it is fixed. I thought at first that surely that would not work, figured I would at least put the seat back in and hope. Magic is right! Thanks for sharing! Saved me a lot of headache.
