i recently discovered a wire below the the glove box that is not connected to anything. the best way i can describe where this wire is coming from, is if you look under your glove box, you will see a block with wires coming out of it. the wires are orange and purple in color and go to the passenger lower right corner. the first orange purple wire comes out of the plug under the glove box is not currently connected to anything, did i disconnect by accident when fishing for my antenna wire or did this wire never get connected? i dont see any errors or anything on my dash. i took two pictures to show you. please help.
the wire is the one on the block going over the blue circle.

Just went out and looked. Best I can tell, I have no wires just loose. I did a bunch of wiring there this past weekend and do not recall seeing any disconnected. either.

Can you see the harness with the glovebox removed? Which side of that connector is the wire connected to (forward or aft)? Just saw your other photo. I'll go back out and look.

you dont need to remove the glove box... if you go in and lay on your back, put your head on the floor and look up... the wiring harness is right there... orange and purple wires.
my guess is if the electrical tape is still wraped around the plastic wire harness at the floor you may never know unless you unwrap the electrical tape.

The rubber grommets in my Jeep are different colors. Which side of that connector is the wire connected to (forward or aft) and (top or bottom)? Just to clarify which wire.

the wire would be first one, so if you are looking at it it would be closer towards the seat. (if you would be sitting in the seat.... or towards the passenger door....

That is where mine goes to as well.

Pulled electrical tape. That wire on mine goes way up the harness. Couldn't follow out all the way.

I'm not real sure how different the wiring is between the 2007 and the 2010. Wish I could have been more help.
