Default help me decide on aux lights

hey guys,

been wanting some aux lights for the windshield, cant decide what I want to go with though. I like the rigid duallys alot and they seem like the best option, but doesnt hurt to look at old school hella halogens either. what do you guys think? cant decide on pattern either, probably would go with a spot as these will probably the only aux lights I go with. Also what brackets are best to go with? thanks in advance!

I think you would be really happy with the rigids

Thumbs up

I voted for old-school Halogens. I like them and they're cheap. And I know how to work on them more than D2 and HIDS.

I don't know your budget, and that's a huge part to choosing.

If you have the disposable income, go with Rigids.

But if you don't, do what I did and wait till you find a great deal on used lights. I just picked up a set of PIAA 520 Driving Lights practically brand new for $75.

Yeah I really don't want to spend a ton on lights I'll hardly use. They are all $$ though so it seems like I should just go with the rigids

Look at the Ward W650Ds

They're good lights (55w driving lights) ... what I especially like about them is the wireless remote ... no need to run wires into the cab for the toggle switch so installation is dirt easy

For brackets, I bought the KC brackets ... simple bolt-on onto using the existing windshield frame bolts and are a pretty strong design.
