I just bought a eclipse AVN726e cd/DVD/nav/bluetooth player from a forum member.

The only part missing is the microphone for the Bluetooth.... Anyone know where I can get the microphone????

Eclipse is no longer making products in north America..... Crutchfield can't get any....

Any one have one or know of a broken unit for sale?

Funny you say that... I just left there after posting!!! They told me to look into a generic or universal mic... Anyone have any ideas.... Here's a pic of the set up... You can see the mic that I need....

Maybe you can get one of these and use the Mic?

My buddy just picked on up at our local future shop it is a Sony External Mic (XAMC10 EXT MICROPHON) web ID 10138230 ....

Looks like its also available through Best Buy same web id

 

What did it end up costing him? Are the expensive? Did he put it in a Sony HU or another brand? I hope there compatible!!!!

 

Up Here he paid $35 CAN and he has a Kenwood Head Unit they seem to be working great together ..

as long as your Unit uses a 3.5mm Jack it should work.
