Sup all. Just picked up my JK Saturday and so far I am thoroughly impressed. But I noticed the other night that the HVAC panel on the center console is dark. Checked fuses, went back to the dealer and they want to keep in overnight! I suspect it's just a bulb, so eff that! Anybody have this happen or any advice? How much of a PITA is it to remove the center console? Thanks for heppin out a newb.

 

more than likely the bulb is not user serviceable.

I would guess its a soldered LED.

 

Not sure if it's a bulb or not, but the dash isn't too hard to pop off. Problem is, it scratches really easy, so it takes some finesse.

 

Center console is really easy to remove..just takes a little time if you don't want to scratch anything. Check the FAQ for a link to instructions.
