just purchased 2014 Wrangler Unlimited Sahara, traded in my 09 Rubi.
Canadian Jeep, not sure if this could be the issue. I have extra warranty for 5yrs.
OK the problem. My 09 Rubi and wifes 12 Sport both are able to drive with parking lights
on and fog lights by turning the switch and pulling.
My Sahara, will allow this to happen if in neutral, once I shove into first gear headlights come
on and fogs go off...ill take any and all suggestions on what to do.
Do not want to take to dealership until I know what it is.
Thanks

My Bad
2014 Unlimited Sahara
6 speed manual
No lift yet, just bought it
35,000

My guess is that the daytime running lights become engaged when you shift into gear. There may be a way in personal settings to turn them off or you could buy an AEV Procal to shut them off.

Yup running lights. According to the paper that came with my procal that's how they work on the autos. Go out when you put in park too.

The way the original post was worded, sounds like it is a manual trans, but not sure.
