Which head unit??
So the "boss" just aproved for me to buy a new head unit for the JK. Trying to think of what to get. I like Kenwood a lot. I will get one with DVD. I will add a screen to the back for our daughter to watch when on long trips. She gets cranky after being strapped in to long but gets quiet when she watches an iphone. Thinking maybe a double din or single din with flip out touch screen so I can add an in dash CB later. I wonder though if a single din flip out has room due to the dash panel hang over above the radio. Any thoughts??

I thought of that but I have been wanting a new head unit and now that the wife said ok I am going to take advantage. She said I need to get it done by our next out of town trip which is in Febuary.

Not sure about the 2012 as I have a 2007, but have a Kenwood double din in mine,
It has SATNAV, DVD, radio, front and rear cams, iPod connector, Bluetooth for the phone and external connects ( both in and out)
Have added screens in the back as replacement headrests.
Kenwood was the only one available at the time with a removable front face for when parked with the top is off.
DVD in the back keeps the kids happy and no one likes the "are we there yet" on a long drive.

I just bought a JVC KW-AVX840. Detachable faceplate is a must when you have no doors or top! Plus it has quite a few nice features...DVD, A/V out, bluetooth/iphone controls.

I have the jvc n50 with detachable face. I love it. I have back up cam and bypass. Sounds awesome with infinity speakers. Only complaint is Gps is hard to get used to. I heart radio app is my favorite part!
