As I'm looking at all three light sections in a row, I would like to check on this: Since all the LED's are in parallel I should be able to hook up the positive lead from the switch to the far right LED's in the schematic drawing? So on the jeep I would have a positive with diode from the dome light to the LED's under the rear seat then wire all the lights up to the footwells under the dash and having the positive lead with diode going to the LED's under the dash?
I, personally, prefer the relays.

I got a little confused there. You want to hook all 3 sets of LEDs together for each side and just feed the first LED in the array from both the dome positive and the switch positive with the diodes inline. Is that what you were asking?

Edit: Oh I think I get what you were asking. Yes, you should be able to feed the power from the switch to the third LED in the array. I'll redraw the schematic and see if that is what you were asking.

Is this what you mean? I can't see any reason why that won't work.

Do you use a computer program for your schematics?

No, I hand draw them with MS Paint of all things. Don't have any fancy software.
