fog mounting opinion and question
Hello. I just got a pretty nice pair of used piaa fogs lights from a friend for free and they are much too big to be put into the stock location for fogs. I was wondering two things:
1) Would the fog lights be completely ineffective if I mounted them on windshield pillar mounts and
2) If I did go with the aforementioned mount, would I be able to replace the fog lamps with driving bulbs using the same wiring harness? Thanks in advance.

Nice friend... 1) Fogs in the pillars will reflect too much off the hood and cause a glare on your windshield 2) the reflector is what makes the difference between light patterns, so changing bulbs won't get you any farther.
Why not a light bar on the bumper? Or the quadratec light mounts? Like so:

I just installed the rugged ridge modular xhd so that's not an option unless i wanted to put them on the bull bar which I absolutely do not.
