I removed the factory fog lights due to getting a new bumper so now the wires are just hanging there. How do I remove the wiring harness? Maybe someone has suggestions on using these lights for something else?

That's what I'd go for.

I cut the ends off and spliced them into LED lights I run from the factory fog switch. As long as you stay below the 24 watts factory draw this should work. ,one are 18 watts and work perfectly.

That's what I am doing now. I actually bought the wire extenders so they plug right into factory harness and the other end has those clamp ends where you insert the wires from the fog lights and then just crimp the wires. I was also told the same thing. As long ad you stay under what the factory lights drew for power you are all set. I was told you could go up to 30 watts. The new lights I bought are I believe 25 or 27 watt LEDs. Will be nice just to use the factory switch. Will post pics once I install.
