Default Fog light upgrade

This may be covered in another forum but I haven't come across it yet.

I recently upgraded my headlamps to he Sylvania Silverstar. Now my fog lifts look dim. I want to replace the bulbs with something that will give me a bright white light like the Silverstars do. Any suggestions?
O'Riley's is the only place that can order a replacement bulb but it's the same as the stock factory bulb. Anyone know where I can find replacements?

Go to Quadratec or Amazon. They make Silverstars for the fogs too.

I don't know if you have any interest at all, but I have a set of Rebel Off Road LEDs that I really liked. I had them in for about 3 months and then changed the bumper, so had to take them out. If you take a look and like them, let me know if you'd want to save a few bucks on them. They're definitely not cheap, but the LED look is pretty nice!

If you have a 07-10 wrangler, you can fit a 9005 Silverstar Ultra in the oe fogs. The plastic nubs are different, but with some puzzling, I got them to fit perfect. Just as bright as head lamps now.

Just convert them to HID. The Silverstars burn out fast... like if you get 9 months out of them you'll be doing good. I went through about 5 pairs before I gave up, and that was in my work truck. (I will add that I drove with my headlights on all the time but that truck never went off road) Taking your Jeep off road and Silverstars might not work out so well. For the $35-45 you spent on the bulbs for a little more you can just convert them to HID

it said not fit for 2013 Wrangler, don't know how accurate eBay's auto compatibility is, though.

likely because to use an H16 bulb form-factor you have to modify the tabs so its not a direct plug N play.. so they deny the compatibility
