I bought a 2012 rubicon with the infinity system but not happy with the sound. I bought a pair of polk db651 and installed in the sound bar but just a slight improvement. I'm looking at upgrading the front and rear speakers with focal and also a focal amp. I want to keep the head unit (730n RHR) and don't mind the sub. Any recommendations?

I did a set of coaxial Focal 6.5" in the sound bar and 6.5" component Focals in the dash. The 1" tweeters required very little trimming to fit in the stock enclosures. I like the JL amps more than the focal so I did a 700/5 under the front seat. I also did a JL 10" sub and enclosure.

getting outputs is the hard part i suggest getting the "v4 lockpick" or may be the 3sixty . 3 fro rocker fosgate but tthat means you have to keep the oem amp

I did not keep the stock head unit as I wanted to add navigation, backup camera and DVD capabilities so I put in a Kenwood DNX6180.
Here is a picture of how the tweeters look as for the 6.5" mid base it looks stock from the outside of the dash. I also ran all new wire for the speakers and the sub. 14 AWG for the mids and tweeters and 12 AWG for the sub.

And to top it all off I put down FatMat throughout the vehicle.

Nice, looks good. How does the fatmax compare to dynamat? Is it worth doing it alltogether?

I did not take any before and after decibel readings however everyone in the family says it is way quieter inside. I have to agree as well and it made rewiring very simple.
