fixed the headlights on problem when unlock with fob
Ok so here's the deal...
Both of my hid Ballast when out at the same time. (Btw I have a 08 jku) I had thw same type of hid on my 10jk no keyless and worked for 2 years. (Off the soap box) I have decided that the headlights coming on when I unlock with the fob and then turn off several times a day is what cause this. The dealers around here either say it can't be turn off or they want almost a $100 to do a less than five minutes worth of work. I think I have found the solution to the problem. Instead of the normal answers u get l. So here it goes.....
This will take...
2 30amp 4 pin relays
At least 16g wire
Female spade conecters
Electronal tape
Butt conecters of very sizes
So lets get to it...
***note that r1=relay 1 and r2=relay 2
Relay 1
85- to switched 12volt power. (Ingition wire)
86- ground
87- output a ground. Hook to the 86 post of r2.
30- same ground as 86 post of r1.
Relay 2
85- switch side of headlight wire
86- ground input from 87 post of r1.
87- bulb side of headlight wire
30- battery positive.
Also I would but a 15apm fuse on the 30 post wire of r2 and a 7.5 amp fuse on the 85 post of r1.
Sorry for the hand drawing doing this at work.
Those of you that are using factory bulbs you will have to cut the headlight wire.
For those of you that have hids you do not have to cut the wire just put 85 post of r2 to the factory headlight wire and 87 post of r2 to the power wire of the ballast wire.
I hope this helps.

Not sure if there is a huge difference between the 08 and the 2012, but I used an AEV procal to disable this feature on mine. I bought it to calibrate after tire & lift install. The Procal does alot for 150 bucks!
