Is there any other access point from engine compartment to cab other than the access point via the vents that's easily accessible? Trying to run switch wires and the plug is a little big to fit through insulated hole....or do I risk pulling harder??? Lol

It took some work but I got 4 gauge wire through there. I used a coat hanger and duct tape the wire to it once I got it lined up properly and through, I used pliers to pull the rest of it through.

On the drivers side up and to the left of you brake is an access hole for the clutch. This works if you have an auto.

You could just run the wires from the inside first then feed them through the hole into the engine bay. That way your not trying to pass the switch through too.

Yeah it's wicked tedious. It took me awhile.

get some slime or use liquid dish soap to lube the wires before pulling them through - it'll make them slide through easier.

just don't get it on the ends...

So to be clear are you ruling out the far extreme right and left side of dash panels that face each front doors? Not sure if you are referring to these being as being the vent access points. There is foam there on both long thin screw driver poked right through on my 2011. I ran four 12 gauge wires very easily. I too would like to know of other locations without drilling.

Not entirely ruling them out yet, just need to try a little more finese or move on to the clutch access whole as indicated in an earlier post to this thread!
