Factory switch and 55w Hella Lights..
#3
I think the factory fogs are 45w. Do a search here and in the electrical section and you will see quite a few threads on this. If nothing else you can tap into the wires and use the stock swtich if wanted by adding a relay. I just went through them earlier this week, plan on hooking up some KC's.

How long have you been running it this way?
How long do you use your hella's for? I want to use mine like the factory fogs...on whenever my headlights are....
Any adverse effects?
Where is the fuse for the foglamps located? I couldn't figure it out....even with reading my owners manual and looking at the underhood diagram.
Stupid chrysler wiring.

ive been running these through the factory switch for 3 months now. no extra fuse needed the factory wattage is 42 as stated. however, i dont use mine for continuous night driving just occassional but they have been on when wheeling for 30-45 minutes without any problem.

Well I am done for tonight (removed factory plastic bumper, removed crush cans, drilled/installed hella 500's on factory metal bumper) so I will wait to see some more feedback tonight and then tommorow will either wire them in to the factory harness or wire up my own harness...which I can do but I hate doing because I hate wiring.

I've been running 55w Hella 90mm fogs in my Fab Four front bumper off the stock fog light wiring for a year now.
No problems, and I run them a lot! Used to run them any time the headlights were on, but since I got the 7" H4 Cibie headlights, it's really not needed.
Do not go to an increased wattage bulb unless you add relays, however!
