Default Factory option Subwoofer Box

I had the infinity subwoofer box put in when I bought it, but i think the speaker went out. I took it off and tried to get the box open to replace the speaker, but I don't see how it opens? Am I going crazy that I can't replace that speaker?

Just take the screws out of the speaker, then gently pry it out with a flat head screwdriver

The trick I had seen on another writeup here: remove the grill and use an allen wrench on the slot on the bottom of the subwoofer to pull it out. It might be stuck from the seal "gluing" in due to heat but should still pop out with light force.

I tried that but it seems to be stuck! Like glued or something? I'll try again though. Thanks
