Hey ClownBaby, i thought that I had read somewhere that the Nitro HU had some of the pins swapped compared to the JK. Is that incorrect, or do you know? It'd make way more sense ffrom a manufacturing standpoint if they were the same, but we are talking about DC here.

Shouldnt be...but you also have the wire colors and that wouldn't change. This is what another guy used to install his external monitor. This is the best diagram you can find at the moment.

Also, I don't think the nitroforumz guys would appreciate you posting their pics. Have you asked for permission to repost them?
They could care less....
They made those pictures to help other people who have similar products. They know JK folks are using it. It's already a stickey in the FAQ section. Don't worry, if they hastle me, I'll just make re-type it again and will go behind my system and take pics...Beside, they took those pictures from somewhere else. (at least the first 3 pics) LOL

Is there a source for cables C1 and C3?

I may not be retarded but my Jeep only has C2.

Default Yes there is

You can get all the connectors from your DCX dealer -- they may not stock them but there are part numbers for them.

For the record, C2 and C3 are the same part number.

Part Number:
C1: 10 pin connector 5135638AA
C2 & C3: 22 pin connector 5083221AA

These connectors do require assembly. They come in a bag with pins pre-crimped onto the wires (all purple) and you need to assemble the connector the way you want it.

C2 and C3 have different teeth patterns.

Look closely at the plastic teeth on the bottom of each connector.
Using letters for the shape of the teeth:
C3 is A A I A A
C2 is A I I I A

I noticed this on my unit, just using the picture from this post to visually clarify.
