I like it, but I've had such bad luck with the harness stuff that I'll no longer try without a direct plug n play with the factory setup.

Look forward to seeing the install and hearing first hand feedback. Not a bad price for something to put in an open top vehicle.

you guys should be focused on the internals of these all in one units,

i was making this decision three years ago when shopping around for an all in one

i finally settled on Eclipse, i havent had any issues with it,

the all in one units have a lot of parts, and tons of moving parts, quality must be top notch, especially in a jeep which is not the softest of vehicles out there

point being, spend the money on a quality product not a cheapo chinese knockoff probably made by some child labor facility

I agree somewhat, BUT, for that price, I'm brave enough to try it. We use to think Japanese stuff was junk many years ago....where's it at now? And, how many American manufacturers are importing from China, and just putting their name on it?

I paid my money, and I'm taking the chance!

With that said, it arrived today....3 days from Hong Kong, not bad, huh?
I hooked it up to a 12v battery in my kitchen and played with it for hours. TV reception isn't bad, for rabbit ears! DVD played fine...definitely not the crispest picture I've seen, but not bad....not bad at all, especially for being so close!! The radio works fine, once the station is set, you can just turn off the lcd screen, so you don't have to look at the radio "page"...I don't have my backup camera, so couldn't try the video in for that, but did try powering the blue "backup- trip" wire, that instantly switches to the back up view....or plain blue screen in this case.

The bad things I've noted so far, when I crank up the volume, the picture gets nuts, tv-radio-doesn't matter. But, then with an amp hooked up, it didn't need to be way up, and was fine then.....beats me! I'm not gonna' worry about it for now.

The screen is a simple push to open, then it drops down to reveal the DVD slot.....so, the screen's not motorized, but, less to break.

Another thing is, the screen can't be tilted up, which kinda' surprised me. It's just hinged at the bottom to drop down.....other than that, only the ribbon cable going to the LCD. Pop the hinge pins, the whole thing could come off.....IF the ribbon unhooks.....haven't checked. A/V in's and outs, tho' if you actually used many of 'em, you'd have a hell of a time getting the radio in!!

Of course it's too big to fit in the old radio's spot.... you have to do some cutting of the plastic, as well as the top partof the rear mount. I've got the dash space ready, but gotta' wait for my dash kit , antenna adapter, and b/u cam.

This showed up in 3 days, but all the stuff I ordered in the U.S. will prob'ly take 2 weeks!!

BTW, I was gonna' take some pics of it playing today, but my wife had the friggin' camera in her car again!

I got the dash kit and antenna adaptor today, so got my install done....well mostly! Getting the dash panel cut out to size was the worst....must've taken off "a little more" about 600 times, trying to make sure the lcd screen would be able to open without rubbing at all. I had to grind some off the metra dash pieces too, to make it work.

Long story short, everything works, no more high volume messing up the picture (musta' been my quickie connections for testing in the kitchen)

I watched a Playboy Wet Hot Nudes DVD for a while....just to make sure the DVD worked

By the time I got everything positioned, I lost a little clearance at the top, so now have some scraping when opening/closing, but I'm quitting for the nite!!

Didn't get the rear camera yet, but, found the Jeep's rev. wire, so that's hooked up for the rev cam screen trigger-er?

No idea how it will hold up, but, for the price, as of now, I'm lovin' it!!

I'll post a few pics later tonight

Does yours have touchscreen?

I like how the first pics posted were marketed by Enonon, when there's not a single label on the device itself saying enonon.

I hope everythign works out for you. I've always advised towards getting brand name items, but i'm curious to see how this one holds up!

PS: it looks like the USB is a mini-usb jack. Does it come with an adapter to plug in a standard USB device, like a thumb drive? Can you access the USB with its location on top?

Mine says eonon!.....? I'm guessing those pics were for a model sold under different names, used by different companies. China IS kind of a big place.

Yes, mini port, and it came with the adapter. It was a balancing act, trying to figure how far out to have it stick thru' the dash...as it is now, I would have to open the screen a little to use that, or the sd card. I can fix that by moving the brackets, but prob'ly won't, for now. My free time is almost over. It's not a touch screen....everything is set thru a menu, or the remote.

I had planned on getting a single din DVD receiver, so I could have the li'l storage spot in the dash, and, having a standalone monitor. But, if it doesn't last, I'll go that route, and, get a "name brand"!! I promise!

Here's the pics, the TV is playing in most ofthem, and the antenna isn't hooked up, so don't expect much there! I don't know if I'll even bother putting it up....not that concerned about tv. While checking it out last night, I found the surround sound was off, so turned it on, and it sounds so much better than factory now. I tried the sd slot....can't close the face quite all the way with it in, but sounds great, has a scrollable menu for mp3's. The usb slot would definitely have to have the face open farther to use...too bad it isn't mounted in the frt......oh well, this isn't a $2,000 unit, so I won't complain... unless/until, it breaks!!

Re: the reverse cam screen, no camera yet, but even if the unit is turned off, shifting into reverse turns the unit, and appropriate screen on....

radio playing, with screen off

thisis what I had to cut out

Here's a couple pics of the backup cam results. Works great, and can also be switched on manually. Should be great for winter when my rear window is frozen!
