Electronic Sway Bar Wiring
I have searched and come up with no answer.
I bought an electronic sway bar disconnect (same as on a rubicon), wiring harness and switch. However the directions are how can I put this TERRIBLE. Well I guess they meet mopar standards.
Does anyone have photos or advice of how to wire the disconnect in the engine bay? I would greatly appreciate it.
Thanks,
Dan

I just installed mine the other day ... what do you need to know that aren't in the instructions?
The two black wires go to ground.
Two wires as indicated in the directions splice into same colored wires on connector E. (red and red/green I think)
The last two wires splice into same colored wires on Conector A ... White/Gray and White/Blue ...
Then pop the front out of you center dash ... and swap the switches.
Mine works fine .. going to dealear on Saturday to update my PCM so dash lights work. FYI ... don't accidently switch the wires on connector A like I did ... JK wouldn't start, fans were freaking out and check engine light went on ..

I had ASSUMED they wouldn't match either ... but if you locate the correct pin (which I did first ... and recommend you do anyway) as indicated in the directions ... the wires are actually the same colors.

I need some more help. I wired the two wires on A based on color since you cant follow the wires to the pins. so the solid red and the light green and pink go to their perspective colors. Now I hit another problem. On the second connector (e) I have light blue and white wire and a black and white wire. I assume theses are the two remaining wires I need even though they dont match in color?
Also how do you know if you have done it correctly prior to a flash. Is it obvious when the sway bar disconects? or do I have to raise on wheen to see?
Thanks,
Dan

Looks like you wired it wrong though ...
RED and PK/LG go on connector E. The large center connector. I removed the connector from the ECM and removed the wire cover to verify. The directions show you the connector location and the pin location.
The other two wires are the CANBUS wires and go to Connector A of the same colors.
Did you download the directions and see the pictures? There is no way to confuse connector E with A - they are completely different shape and size but are both located on the underside of the fuse box. You need to disconnect the box from the mount and flip it up and over.
I installed all the wiring before installing the bar. I laid the bar on the ground and connected the harness. Then I had my son press the button and I heard it unlock. I verified the bar rotated freely .. then pressed the button again and verified it locked. When all looked good I installed the bar and had the dealer do the flash so the cluster light works.
