sorry to maybe beat a dead horse. I am wanting to use this setup to wire in hella 500's. From my understanding, using this setup will allow the lights to come on only when key is in acc/on. My question is do I tie this into the power wire (red) for my lights, bypassing the battery?

This setup is good to supply power through a switch to a relay for the lights. The switch will throw the relay only when the key is in ACC/RUN. The current for the lights will pass from the battery, through the relay, to the lights.

Anyone got a makeshift wiring diagram for wiring lights using this setup. I am just having a mental block right now. I know if I was not using this setup, i would run power from battery to relay.

The fuse tap supplies power to the accessory wire.

If the switches are only controlling the coil side of two relays, and the two coils don't draw more than the fuse rating, you can use one fuse tap.
