Default DVD when driving
Can anyone make this simple for me? Is there a wire I can detach or something cheap I can buy? I hate it only plays in park.

Do a search for Lockpick. Not sure there is a cheap way of doing it

Yeah, I think you'll need the lockpick software and it's kind of pricey. Cheaper go buy a portable DVD player if someone wants to watch a movie while driving. Might be less distracting to the driver that way too. Just my .

When I had my JVC Arsenal in my WS6 Trans Am there was a handbrake wire that made it so you couldn't use the DVD unless the handbrake was in use. Usually the first click of the handbrake is useless except it made it so the DVD worked while driving

X2. Lock pick is the only solution I've heard of and it's pricey.

I picked up a lockpick from Sonic Electronix. Saved about $70.

Thanks. Looks like I can find a lockpick on Ebay for around $120. I like the factory look so that would be best. Any body installed one? How hard is it? How long should it take?

one of my first installs...added a back up camera while I was at it...very simple plug and play...think it was only 4 small bolts....you got this...
