Default DVD output to screen?

Hi, i've just bought an 08 JK unlimited (Australia spec) with a 6 disc head unit up front, the unit says on the front that it plays DVD's, does anyone know if i can connect a dvd screen to this unit? is it that simple?
I spoke to my dealer but he's an idiot and doesnt know what day it is most of the time..

I've also had that 'popping/crackling' problem on my sound system (the jeep is one week old) yet it seems to have stopped now, can it fix itself or will it reappear? i'm having a hard time convincing my dealer that it was happening, especially now it has stopped!

This is my first jeep and i love it, planning to do some subtle mods and would love to add a gps/dvd player if anyone can suggest how to do this easily that would be great. I saw the thread on the garmin gps but i'm not sure how this connects to the factory head unit.

thanks a lot.

There is a TSB on the popping problem. Just print it off and take it to them if they don't believe you.

I'm fairly new at this so please forgive me, but is this only for the 6-disc changer or would it apply to the MyGig as well?
