Default double din navigation

Just bought a 2012 wrangler unlimited sahara, I wanted to convert my stock system and get a double din navigation/dvd system. Where can I find the conversion kit for the double din, also do you guys have any recommendations on which system to get? thanks in advance

I have the JVC nav unit with detachable face. Nice to take out when the top is off. It has streaming Bluetooth, hd radio, Sirius radio, and traffic updates. Front USB port. I'm also running a flush mount back up camera.

Some units actually require the removal of some of the braces inside of the radio opening. And some units require a couple of little filler pieces that fill in the spaces on either side of the aftermarket head unit. All of the aftermarket units will require an adapter harnes to connect the AM unit to the OE wiring. If you shop a reputable automotive AV website, they should include all of this information. Exactly what is required will be based on what you buy.

Crutchfield will supply you the install kit free if you buy the unit from them. Plus there is a required harness if you want to keep your steering wheel controls.

From what I have read on crutchfield you still need to buy a harness adaptor. They give you 50% off one though.

There are 2 harness adapters one for the infinity sound system and one without. It looks like you get 50% off the infinity harness from them.
